This is a free introductory workshop presented by P.E.A.K. (Parents Eager to Assist Kids). The following is a brief description of the workshop: How do parents whose own parents never discussed how to interpret their bodies signals or respond to a sexy scene in a movie help their children process the huge amount of sexual stimuli in today’s environment? How can they turn the questions kids naturally ask into teachable moments that their child can really sink their teeth into?

Sex education does not begin in middle school, it begins in the home where children pick up verbal and non-verbal cues about how they are to feel about their bodies, attachment, and touch. In my talk I will guide parents through a sex education curriculum based on developmental maturity for children from K-6 before they hit adolescence.
